How to purchase DMC from the decentralized exchange MDEX

DMC is available for purchase from the MDEX exchange. MDEX is a decentralized trading platform based on the AMM (Automatic Market Maker) mechanism (Official website: ).
MDEX is operating as a Dapp, it is available from multiple wallets, such as Huobi Wallet, TokenPocket, BitKeep, and MetaMask. The following sample screenshots were produced with TokenPocket.
Step 1 - Download TokenPocket to access MDEX
Download TokenPocket from AppStore. Launch TokenPocket, you will find MDEX at the middle section of the home page, i.e. the default Discover tab located in the middle of the bottom navigation bar.
Step 2 - Connect your HECO wallet
(1) Select the ‘HECO’ option on the top right corner. At the moment, DMEX is operating on the Huobi Ecosystem Chain (HECO chain). Please make sure you always select the ‘HECO’ option for all transfers and transactions.
(2) Click the wallet symbol next to Heco option to review your wallet information. If you have a wallet that supports the HECO chain, MDEX will automatically connect to your HECO wallet.
Step 3 - Purchase DMC
(1) Select the token you wish to exchange for DMC. At the moment, MDEX supports over 80 different tokens including USDT and ETH.
(2) Enter the amount of DMC you wish to purchase.
(3) Review all information and click ‘Approve’ to confirm your DMC purchase.
Step 4 - Purchase HT for future gas costs
Obtain HT (the Huobi platform token) to pay for future gas fees for future HECO Chain/DMEX transactions. As DMEX is operating on the Huobi Ecosystem Chain (HECO chain), users need to pay a small amount of HT for each transaction as the gas fee. However, the HECO chain has a very low gas fee. On average the total gas fee for 100 transactions is 1 HT (Approx.13.8 USDT).
HT can be directly purchased from the Huobi Exchange, as is demonstrated by the sample screenshot on the left.
HT is obtainable from multiple Dapps and decentralized exchanges on the HECO chain. For example, users can exchange over 80 different tokens for HT in the TokenPocket Dapp, as is demonstrated by the sample screenshot on the right.
